Hardware / IoT & embedded systems
IoT & custom hardware development.
We bring electronics and software into the same project. Based in Kochi, Kerala, PETAERA TECHNOLOGIES LLP works on custom hardware, embedded firmware and connected devices.

What does the device need to do?
Start with the physical job. A sensor needs to read something. An attendance unit needs to record an event. An access control device needs to respond to an input. Those details determine the electronics, firmware and connections the project needs.
Our IoT and embedded systems work includes firmware, sensors and wireless connections for devices such as attendance systems and access control units. Describe where your device will be used, who will interact with it and what should happen after each action.
- Embedded firmware to handle device behaviour and inputs.
- Sensors and wireless connections for connected hardware.
- Custom PCB design and prototyping when the project needs its own board.

Think beyond the circuit board.
A connected device often needs somewhere for its information to go. That might be a web dashboard, a mobile app or another business system. Deciding what to record and who needs to see it helps define both the hardware and the software.
We also build web applications, Flutter apps, APIs and databases. That gives us a practical basis for discussing the device alongside its application. The useful questions are concrete: what event is sent, what the screen shows and what the user does next.

Make a prototype you can learn from.
A working prototype makes an idea easier to examine. You can look at the placement of connections, try the intended interaction and see how the hardware and software behave together. Our approach is to make the work tangible and test it in context.
Bring an existing unit, a drawing or a description of the problem. Include the available power source, installation space and expected environment if you know them. These details help shape a discussion about the first prototype and the checks it should support.
A few useful answers.
What is the difference between hardware and embedded software?
Hardware is the physical electronics, including the board, sensors and connections. Embedded software, or firmware, controls how those parts behave. In a connected product, both also need to work with the application that receives data or sends commands.
Can you help with a device and its dashboard?
Our services cover IoT and embedded systems as well as web apps, mobile apps, APIs and databases. Share the device requirements and the dashboard workflow together so we can discuss the complete project scope.
What should I share before starting an IoT project?
Describe the task, the installation location and the information the device needs to collect or act on. Existing drawings, hardware, sensor details and connection requirements are useful. You do not need a finished specification to start a conversation.
